Our new company, Essenkay, unveiled!
Over the last 24 months, our founders, Kendall and Simon Langdown have been working hard behind the scenes, developing our new company and brand, Essenkay, and our key services to help support companies with their technology goals for 2024 and beyond.
How did Essenkay come about?
Our founders, Kendall and Simon Langdown have over 20 years of background experience within the Microsoft ERP sector.
Kendall specialises in project management and recovery to create a seamless end-to-end digital transformation experience. Simon feels passionate about educating employees on ERP technology, particularly getting them excited about the changes it could bring to their daily working lives.
Both Kendall and Simon have first-hand experience of the challenges of adapting to Microsoft systems and know that employees can struggle. From this, they spotted a gap in the market for a more personalised and supportive digital transformation company that can relate to employees’ struggles while educating the team on the benefits of digital transformation.
Essenkay has an unwavering dedication to empower businesses and their employees to embrace new technology across diverse industries. We strive to bring about a positive transformation to people's relationship with technology and are committed to aiding businesses in leveraging the benefits of positive technological advancements, fostering connectivity toward limitless objectives.
Collaboration is at the core of our beliefs, and within a culture of mutual respect, we develop technological solutions that fortify businesses for the times ahead, contributing to a purpose-driven journey paving the way for unprecedented success.
Everyone deserves to achieve more!
So, what makes Essenkay different?
Above all, people skills are what set us apart at Essenkay. We focus on creating a partnership with our clients across a mix of in-person meetings to foster a connection and remote meetings to fit the business needs. Our remote training provides clients with flexibility, and we work hard to be considered an extension of the team.
We are experts in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems across manufacturing, engineering, production, logistics and professional services[1] industries. Whether businesses want to automate tasks to save time or unlock data insights to power decision-making, we can guide stakeholders in choosing suitable ERP systems.
At Essenkay, we can support the project recovery[2] of an existing system. Businesses may need us to implement a recovery strategy due to adoption challenges or outdated technology, and we can help advise businesses on the correct route.
As Microsoft updates their systems every two months, we also offer ongoing technology suppor[3] t to help businesses maintain their system’s efficiency. Our services include support reviews, targeted issue resolution and project management.
Current business challenges with technology
While businesses across all sectors recognise the importance of digital transformation, many share common challenges with experiencing significant issues with employee buy-in, poor adoption and outdated software. This lack of buy-in can slow the adoption of new data collection processes for the financial services industry; meanwhile, manufacturing and construction companies require digital transformation to unlock customer purchasing insights.
Many businesses continue to use outdated technology as they face reluctance to change from employees who are ‘comfortable’ with existing systems. However, outdated technology can hold businesses back as their operations and processes will not be optimised; for example, logistics companies require up-to-date data and automatic insights to support delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Cybersecurity is a crucial concern for businesses in 2024, as outdated technology is more susceptible to cyber-attacks. To remain compliant, financial services companies that handle sensitive customer information must balance technological advancements and privacy laws. Using cloud computing instead of a physical location can also enhance the security of the business's data, helping keep employee and client information safe.
How Microsoft ERP solutions can benefit businesses
Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems are designed to help organisations automate core business processes for improved performance. In particular, ERP systems can coordinate the flow of information into one central data point for better organisation-wide sharing of data and analysis. Microsoft ERP systems can also adapt to the future needs of many businesses, ensuring that their technology grows with them.
Having greater access to data across all aspects of businesses is highly beneficial to a range of sectors. For financial services organisations, ERP systems can help organise and automate accounting systems, customer information databases, and financial reporting. In contrast, for logistics companies, Microsoft ERP systems can be implemented to improve supply chain management through the centralised tracking of deliveries and inventory levels and identify potential delays in receiving new goods or equipment.
ERP systems can also be integrated with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in various industries to improve relationships and track customer satisfaction. For example, production and manufacturing companies can have a prevailing view of trends in product or delivery issues and quickly step in before any complaints escalate. Using AI, companies can also proactively build solutions to predict customer satisfaction and sentiment trends based on outside factors, such as supply chain delays.
Using cloud technology can also save costs of hosting expensive equipment on their premises; businesses can utilise a pay-as-you-go cloud model, which can be quickly scaled up or down. For example, manufacturing and construction businesses may experience a lull in services over the Christmas period. By using cloud services, they can cut down on costs until the New Year.
Businesses are also under increasing pressure to improve their sustainability, and cloud solutions can offer a great solution. The pay-as-you-go model allows businesses to scale down their energy usage in quieter periods, which is much more sustainable than traditional technology systems that run off a steady flow of energy input.
